EPC & FDEP Testing Sites

The FDEP maintains a testing site along with the Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission to continually tests the water quality of water bodies in and around Tampa.

Two of the sites test the quality of the water in the Cypress Creek / Hillsborough River watersheds which are home to Tampa Palms:

  • Testing site 145, just east of I-75 operated by FDEP

  • Testing site 120, just east of BB Downs on Cypress Creek

The EPC provides a monitoring site where users can select a site and click on it to review the most current water testing results. Simply  click here.

The City of Tampa, as part of its NPDES MS4 reporting likewise provides and reports as to the water quality of this area. Their most recent NPDES report covers the period of April 2021 - Mar 2022. That report can be viewed (be sure to note the reporting site numbers related to Tampa Palms [120 & 145]. Simply  click here
